Suzanne Mahon (Client Services) Suzanne has a background in educational psychology, having studied at Waikato, Massey and Auckland Universities. In addition she was the chief executive of a non-governmental charitable organisation for 13 years, and worked in a voluntary capacity for some years helping the resettlement of refugees in New Zealand. She has a strong belief in the nobility of each human being and a genuine appreciation for others. Suzanne’s strength is in the ability to relate to people from diverse cultural backgrounds. She believes in personal integrity, professionalism and fairness in dealing with others. Suzanne has been happily married for 37 years, has three adult children and three grandchildren. Her ethnic background is a mix of European, Iranian and Maori. Diana Watts - Application Manager Originally from New Zealand, Diana’s focus has been on managing the journeys of Australia and New Zealand-bound clients which she has found to be an incredibly rewarding experience. Diana graduated in 2005 as one of the top business students from Auckland University of Technology, where she studied management and e-business. Having lived and worked in the United Kingdom and South Korea, Diana is familiar with the migration process and the difficulties and rewards it can bring. Diana is currently working towards obtaining her New Zealand IAA licensing, with a view to becoming MARA licensed within one year. Sorraya Raja – Office Administrator Sorraya has been involved with migrant communities in a professional capacity since 2001. She began work with the NZ Ministry of Education assisting refugee and migrant children to make a smooth transition into NZ society, and her efforts and hard work in this area were recognised by the Christchurch City Council. In 2008 Sorraya made the leap into immigration when she began working as an office manager/administrator for a migration consultancy firm. Sorraya is a loving mother to two boys and in her spare time loves reading Agatha Christie novels, photography and cooking for her family.

Shehzad Raja - Lead Migration Adviser/ Agent Immigration Advisers Authority License #200901559 Shehzad has been in the New Zealand migration law industry since 2001. During this time he has had positive outcomes for around 99% of his cases, resulting in thousands of successfully settled migrants from all over the world. “My real pleasure in this job comes from the brighter eyes and big smiles of my clients when I deliver them the good news of visa approval. As a migrant myself, I relate completely with people’s hopes and dreams and I do my best to assist them in achieving their goals.” As well as being fully licensed by MARA and IAA, Shehzad holds a Masters in International Law from the University of Canterbury, where he studied elective subjects of NZ migration and refugee law. Shehzad also holds a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law & Practice from the Australian National University in Canberra, from which he graduated with high distinction. Shehzad is also fluent in English, Persian, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. Shehzad loves spending time with his family and enjoys spicy food, reading novels and cinema. He is a firm believer in the idea of oneness of mankind and justice in all areas of human interaction. Phil.Shackell -Director/Business Manager Phil was born in New Zealand and grew up in a small town in the Waikato. After graduating with a PhD in Biochemistry he spent a short time in the medical research environment before turning to a sales and marketing role in the pharmaceutical industry. Subsequent to gaining further qualifications in business management and marketing he spent several years in senior roles in the industry before moving to help start up businesses in the health sector. With his varied background and experience in both business management and client-focused roles he enjoys this exciting new opportunity to work in partnership with family friends in managing a business helping migrants make these life-changing moves to a new country. Phil continues to be an avid researcher – these days focusing on the economic environment & advances in technology & medicine. He is a family man, living with his wife & extended family while keeping close contact with adult children living overseas. |
